I wouldn't wan't to buy that even if I had unlimited amounts of money: the color of that case just puts me of so much...

Only one CPU? If I had that kind of money I'd buy an SMP board and install two.
The only thing I know for certain is that I know nothing at all, for certain.

Gamers system. You could run 2 Xeons, and on a good day you might get a 1-10% increase in framerates, but its hardly worth it.

Bingo. SLI would probably be a "cheaper"/easier way to increase framerates, but I'm not a huge gamer, so I don't see the point.

Too much money to spend on a computer (imho). There are better things you can do with 6 grand.

Also: Holy crap @ 1300 for a video card.

ATI sucks anyway, I'd rather have one GTX 480.

WOW! I just built a BETTER box for a client and he only spent $1200 for ALL the parts. I guess it depends if your city has a quality, low cost computer parts store (we are spoilt in Calgary).

    Better, is subjective.

In no way would I spend $6K for a computer. Hell, I wouldn't spend a $1K today. Been there done that.

Such a waste of money... heck I just spent $600.00 on brand new parts that can play any game out today, including Dx11 games, on high settings, max resolution.

    These builds are a joke.
