I can't imagine Ubuntu without Firefox...
No, firefox is fine
Yes, chromium would be nice
Yes, another browser (not chromium) would be nice
I can't imagine Ubuntu without Firefox...
The poll results, thus far, speak for themselves.

When chromium gets no-script addon I'll make the switch. No-script developers are finding it hard to port it over to Chrome so I guess i'll stick to firefox until something similar as no-script is available on chromium

I love Chrome and it is my default browser (typing this out in Chrome xD), but I still love Firefox enough to warrant it being the default browser to be installed upon installation of the system.
Leave it be.

As great as chromium is starting to be, I think Firefox would be far better suited for default for the following reasons:
1. As was pointed out earlier, many windows users know and use it (I know chrome exists on Windows, but there are far more Firefox users.)
2. As far as open source commitment goes, Mozilla is one of the most important open source organizations out there and not supporting them would be a tragedy IMHO
3. Firefox 4 (to be released at the end of this year) will see the introduction of the Jaeger Monkey Javascript engine, which promises huge speed improvements as they are retooling much of it
4. Firefox 4 will also get a UI refresh
5. Chromium does not look native on Ubuntu
In short I feel Firefox is starting to feel old and bloated, but it is an extremely important project and it is not out for the count as Firefox 4 promises huge leaps forward in speed, looks and features.
The number of living people on Earth today is not in the trillions. In fact, the number is much much smaller. Most people are too busy living in yesterday and tomorrow.
If Chromium could get more visually integrated in Ubuntu and if it gets branding removed (I don't want to see any big corporation logos in my Ubuntu installation), then yes, I agree it could be better, because I consider it faster in all ways.

Superfast WOOHOO!!
~Firefox is really cool though... It should not be removed. I still use it because of apturl, and the many great addons available (cooliris,Fireclam,ABP,DownloadHelper,DTa,etc)
The above post definitely does not contain any sarcasm at all.
Firefox is my vote. It's fast, secure, stable, and you got to love the add on's.
