    Hey!!! I watched the ceremony too it was nice. I felt sad about the Georgian man.

    Yeah the death of that Georgian luge athlete is a real downer. The video of his crash is heart breaking to watch. I saw the video the before he was taken to hospital and I knew right away he wasn't going to make it.

    I'll have to say it was much better on TV than being there. I've been in BC Place many times and the acoustics are just horrible.

    My thoughts go out to the Georgian Olympic team for their lose.

    In all honesty, if the Georgian man had lived he'd have probably been severely paralyzed for the rest of his life. It's probably better that he died shortly after the accident. That's what I would want to happen to me in a scenario like that.
