init: Unable to execute "/bin/sh" for rcS.... ummmm
Locked my box last night, went to unlock it and got this lovely message. Any help would be appreciated.

    9.04 Jaunty, btw.

init: Unable to execute "/bin/sh" for rcS: Not a directory
init: rcS main process (709) terminated with status 255
init: Unable to execute "bin/sh" for rc-default : Not a directory
init: re-default main process (710) terminated with status 255

Does anybody have a solution to this? I just got this error last night. I was trying to watch a dvd and got an error saying it could not mount the drive. So I thought a re-boot would help.
When it started up again I got the error messages above.

Running Hardy 8.04 LTS over a year now and this is the first time I have been unable to get my laptop up and running.

    Please help!
