sync thunderbird and nokia E71

Hi there,

I just bought a Nokia E71, and I currently use thunderbird as my mail/calendar client, not evolution. Is there any way that people have found for doing a sync between these two in linux. There IS an add on in Tbird to sync with Nokia E-series, but it's not available apparently for linux (grrr...).

Given that this is a popular phone, and thunderbird is pretty common, I can't imagine I'm the only one with this problem...

Any advice would be much, much appreciated.

Hey dude - I don't know if this helps - but I've just managed to sync my Google Calendar (gCal) with my Nokia E71 EASILY with this free, open source project written in Java:

I know that's not for thunderbird, but I hope it helps!
