I download the package, ./configure , but make or make install does nothing. Whats the next step to build this from source? I dont think this is in the repos as of yet?

I download the package, ./configure , but make or make install does nothing. Whats the next step to build this from source? I dont think this is in the repos as of yet?

Ubuntu addict and loving it
Look for an INSTALL or README file, most packages come with one that will tell you what you need and how to compile.
