I had the same problem with a Netgear WG511v2 pcmcia card but it was still installed without problem. If you shutdown that "not seen" dialog box you may find that the card is showing, as mine did. It also works very well, better than in windows, in fact.

So i should just click around th screen randomly?

I think I just clicked on the OK button in the box that said hardware not seen, and it then was seen and working.
