    Mirror ping

How do I find out if someone is trying to ping my computer/router?
Can I set up a system that will counter ping the computer pining me and feed the results from my ping back to the enemy so he things he's getting results from me?

Sorry if its hard to understand but I don't know how else to put it.

Depending on the features of your router, you can check your router's security logs for any incoming PING requests as they might list the originating IP address.

Better still, if you're simply interested in blocking, is to turn on "WAN Ping Blocking" or "Drop ICMP requests," again, a feature of most modern routers.
