    cross-platform metadata editor

    Hi Guys,

So I'm a proud owner of a new HTC Hero phone and I'm looking to put my music, photos videos etc etc on it. The only problem I have is that I'm using computers with multiple OS, specifically OS X Tiger 10.4.11, Windows XP and Ubuntu. I would like to sync the phone with these computers. I've decided to go through my media and edit the metadata (e.g., editing tags & playlist for my music) so I can have them on all platforms irrespective of what I use to view/listen to them. I guess I'm going for platform and player independence. Do you guys know of any good cross-platform metadata editors? Is it acually worth me doing this?

    Thanks

P.S. I'd be happy to answer your questions on the HTC Hero.
