Installing on the Dell Mini 12

netbook-remix.archive.canonical.com archive was updated in January
with security updates. We plan to update it again sometime in March to
coincide with the next major UNR update. An updated l-u-m will be part of that
update and has an even newer version of the Pouslbo driver than
referenced here, version 2.3.0.32L.0201.

We hope to push many of the UNR updates first to a proposed repo so folks can try it out before it is released. Don't know the exact date yet, but you can add the following to your sources.list to be sure to get the proposed updates when they become available:

Since it's in regular Hardy repo, does it mean I can install regular Hardy now?

If not, I will stick with UNR without 3D for now.

It certainly will not work out of the box yet. I'd say you are better off with UNR. Hardy still has a version of xserver-xorg-video-psb that is a year and a half old.

But you should try downloading the new linux-ubuntu-modules .deb and installing it manually with dpkg or the GUI package manager or whatever (will need a reboot after). See if you notice any difference: I suspect you'll see the same thing I saw with Intrepid, ie, no real improvement in stability with Xpsb.so enabled.

It's telling you to upgrade to Intrepid? I wouldn't upgrade to Intrepid at this point. What does /etc/apt/sources.list look like?
