hdmi audio on nvidia 750a motherboard (asum m3n-hd hdmi)

Has anybody been able to get HDMI audio to work on the asus m3n-hd hdmi motherboard (or any nvidia 750a based motherboard)?

if so, can you please let me know how you went about doing this.

ubuntu recognized the nvidia digital audio, but does not play any sound (yes, i made sure it wasn't muted). for those who are wondering, yes the hdmi audio works with vista, so i know it is capable.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

Question Re: hdmi audio on nvidia 750a motherboard (asum m3n-hd hdmi)

I have the exact same issue. One of the great things about HDMI is it is a single small cable that CAN carry video AND audio (less cable mess).

I would love a solution for this problem as well.

    Thanks

You all should check out this thread. http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/show...t=97993&page=6. If anyone makes progress on this I would be really interested. I'm currently working on trying to setup a mythbuntu system with hdmi audio out.
    Ubuntu Lucid 10.04
Running Compiz Fusion across Dual LCD monitors on nVidia 7300

Lucid fixed so much on my MacBook 2.0 GHz, 2GB RAM, 200GB
