I wish I'd seen this earlier! Hi y'all, I'm Jethro from NZ, been using Ubuntu for about a month, and loving it. I've tried 10.10 with GNOME, 10.10 with KDE, 10.10 with XFCE (my default now) as well as 11.04 (hated it) and have got 11.10 Alpha installed for a play as well. Started using Ubuntu to escape from Windows, and 'cos I think the free and open source software community is fantastic and down the track I'd love to contribute back.

Best thing about Ubuntu? I haven't had to click "I agree to this EULA" in a month.

Hi everyone! My name is Catherine. I have been using Ubuntu for a few months, and I absolutely love it. I originally set up my computer to dual boot with XP, but I like Ubuntu so much that I have barely used the Windows side. I am thinking of erasing XP completely when I upgrade to 11.04. Cheers

My name is Anupam.

I'm pretty new to using Ubuntu. Though I'd tried it before but never tried it so desperately as this time. I have a triple boot system with Ubuntu 11.04, Windows 7 and Windows-XP on it.

Basically I want to try Java with Ant programming on it along with some shell scripting trials...

Hello everyone , I am new here and hoping to pick up lots of info regarding Ubuntu , i have been using it for about 4months and love it, the guy who set me up with it warned me about downloading the new 11.o4 but i went against his advice and did , absolutely hated it, so he told me to put in the disc for 10.10 meerkat which i did and i lost all of windows, i forgot to say i was dual booting, so i had to take it to be repaired , they can't restore windows so they loaded it again and i get it back tomorrow , expensive exercise, can't wait to install Ubuntu again as i miss using it .
