Gateway issue.

My Gateway PC all of a sudden won't boot. When turned on it gets to the Gateway screen that say [F2] for BIOS and [F10] for boot menu, but neither key works. I changed the BIOS battery and the RAM.

Does anybody know what may be wrong?

I have also just tried resetting the CMOS with no new results.

I've made sure that all wires are snugly connected. I am still clueless as to what the problem may be.

Yes, it is freezing at that screen and it doesn't do anything when I hit any of the keys.
