    I figure this has to do with the driver on my videocard - but how do I find out what video card I have and that driver I would need for it?

    What command do I type to list my hardware profile?

    Ahh ok. The /media/Blackberry worked for me to connect the Blackberry but not to transfer anything yet. I will post any progress I make on it here.

    sorry I should have mentionned you have to make the directory first in the /media folder. I know you're a developer so I assume you did this but it's something I often overlook myself too.

    Ok I got it working now. I had to add this to my /etc/fstab

    sudo gedit /etc/fstab

    /dev/shm /media/Blackberry tmpfs defaults 0 0
