You link only has drivers posted up to Ubuntu 7.10. I.E. It won't let me install any of them

Ahh ok. The /media/Blackberry worked for me to connect the Blackberry but not to transfer anything yet. I will post any progress I make on it here.

sorry I should have mentionned you have to make the directory first in the /media folder. I know you're a developer so I assume you did this but it's something I often overlook myself too.
