yup, it is a problem with jaunty, im on the hardy live cd right now and its working.

ok I confirmed, it does work with no encryption, but I have to turn it back on, so I need to make it work with a wep key.

I think you need drivers for your speakers or sound card.
but im no linux expert so don't quote me on that.
