    Atheros AR242x AR5BXB63 drops connection

    Hello,

    I am using Ubuntu Netbook Remix 1.0.1 (Hardy), on an Acer AspireOne 150L.

    The wireless adapter randomly stops working. It hasn't worked for more than some 36 hours in a row so far.

    In order to get it working, I have to shutdown and wait a few seconds. If I simply reboot, it gives me an error loading HAL, or something like that.

    I haven't yet had the time to copy/paste the log files, but I will post them next time it happens.

    However, from http://aspireone.wikia.com/wiki/List...ugs_and_Fixes:
    For Windows users, go to Device Manager -> Network Adapters -> Atheros AR5007EG, and change the power management from Maximum to either normal or off. This helps some users but doesn't seem to help everyone.
    Is there a way to disable it in Linux as well?

    Has anybody else had this problem and know of a solution?

    Ok, here are the logs for after it hangs, as well as a lot more info from when it loads... pretty much everything that is related to my ath0 device.

    I also left some messages about the built-in cam as it may be related? Anyways, they appear right before it starts complaining about disconnection.

    So, now does anybody have a clue?
