Hey people, we were picked as the "Best Community" by Linux.ars over at Ars Technica. Also, Ubuntu was picked as "Distribution of the Year" and "Best newcomer to the community".

We've really been climbing up on those rankings quickly, plus, almost every Linux magazine at B&N had a column all about Ubuntu and the community in their December issues.

i've been a member for almost 3 years at ars. Their linux forum is one of the best around, and the memembers are some of the most knowledgable anywhere.

They are very choosy as to what makes top, or what is ranked well. If it makes #1 or best, it's a damn good piece of software, and if it doesn't make #1, there's good reasons.

It's great to see that ubuntu was mentioned 4 times in their list.
