Why? KDE4.2 Beta 1 is not a OpenSuse only release. I'm busy upgrading to it on Arch

Awesome! I'll start downloading it now. I have stuck with KDE3 with version 11. I have been waiting for 4.2. It might convince me to switch.

You have stuck? You can install 4.2 along your KDE 3.5.x in OpenSUSE 11, you just need to use the 1-click install I posted:

I tried that on my desktop to test the progress, but didn't like the menu being cluttered with two versions of apps. I was going to wait and see if 4.2 was far enough along to just completely switch and not look back.

Just have a question. Is 4.2 deafult for 11.1? If not, once you 1 click install 4.2, is 4.1 replaced with 4.2, or they co-exist? Thanks for your input.
