    [SOLVED] Can't download nvidia drivers?

Once again I have installed 8.04 and hooked up to my router wired to avoid the wireless problems for now.

I have an nvidia geforce 4 video card. So, once ubuntu was installed, i clicked on hardware drivers to enable the nvidia driver. When it goes online to download the drivers, i get a 404 error...the file is not found. I know the internet works as i'm typing on it right now. Anyone know what happened to the nvidia drivers?

    Hello.
It looks like the server you are using is not responding.
Try changing the download server (System > Administration > Software Sources).

yes, in that area choose "other" where it says "server for the united states"
Then click "select best server" and when it picks one confirm the selection.
