Angry Windows don't maximize to full screen

Hi I'm using Ibex (fresh install)

I did a update yesterday and now the windows don't maximize. You can drag them to full screen, but when you click the maximize/restore button it goes back to half the screen size.

Is anyone one else having this problem? Does anyone know a way to fix this?

    Thanks

It is happening to me. Looking for solutions as well. I am very unhappy with the update to Ibex and I think it's the worst release Ubuntu has ever put out. And this is just one of the reason.

    Please help!

Found a solution on this thread:

A quicker way to get a solution is to go to System-Appearance and change to no effects. Next open a terminal window and type: rm -r ~/,compiz and then restart your computer, when it comes back, all is well.

Now to find solution to the dozen of other problems...
