I have Ubuntu 8.10 in this laptop: TOSHIBA Satellite A60-332(Intel Celeron 2800 MHz L2 Cache, 704 MB RAM, 160 GB HDD, Proprietary BIOS, ATI Mobility RadeON 7000 IGP, dual-boot Windows-Ubuntu)

Ubuntu sometimes not start.Pressing ALT+F1 in usplash I saw that hangs on:

CTRL+ALT+CANC does not work.

Memtest it's ok: 11 Pass, 0 Errors for 7 hours running...

In menu.lst I have:

noapic nolapic

I did all the updates of ubuntu, and now with the new kernel 2.6.27-9-generic have to reboot 5-6 times to log on!
