EnvyNG nvidia drivers out of date ?

i wondered why the nvidia drivers using envy are soo out of date ? is there a way to install the newest driver ?

I don't believe they are out of date: I am using the 173 version nvidia Driver, and it is working fine for me. I do not have 8.10 yet, but after looking n the forums many say that the newest driver, 177, does not work well, so ver. 173 should work fine

I'm not sure why anyone even uses Envy. For NVidia cards the install is really easy. The latest driver is 180.06 beta. The latest stable driver is 177.82.

I'm currently using the 180.06 betas. They are very fast and trouble free.
