Hello, I'm new!

Hello, my name is Drew, and I'm new to the group. I just wanted to say hello and maybe to get to know you guys.

Also, I'm going to lurk in the IRC channel now, but I'd like to know what else I can do. I've heard there are meetings in the IRC every 2nd Thursdays and 4th Tuesdays, and there are also meetings in Rochester (which I can't feasibly attend, since I'm only a student and I live near Syracuse). Anything else I ought to know? Anything else I ought to do?

It's a pun on a Christian death metal song, "Infected." I like to make puns out of my usernames. I once considered "Drewbuntu" but then I figured that it sounded like a very, very, VERY bad distro.
