    Hi,

Next time you do something like uninstalling Windoze backup all the things you need (for example backup your home folder). If you don't want to go through mucking into your apps to install them, use sudo apt-get, Add/Remove, Adept (if you ever use kubuntu), apitude, or Synaptic. I'm sorry I can't help you with getting a new GRUB. If you want a new GRUB the Kubuntu installer will install a new one (but not GRUB4DOS) and maybe the Ubuntu installer will too. I hope you're not confused. If you don't know what I'm talking about PM me and I'll explain it simpler. ARE U READY 4 SOME POPCORN!!!

    Re: Remove windows

Because you were using Wubi that means ubuntu is contained in windows as an application.

Therefore removing windows means removing Wubi Ubuntu.

What you need to do is boot off of ubuntu cd and install ubuntu from there
