Does someone have an idea of what is causing this problem?
Any help would be really appricated!
Where can I get further help? or report a bug?
Without wireless I am stack!
Well,i got my fix put this as root:
sudo echo "options iwl3945 disable_hw_scan=1" > /etc/modprobe.d/iwl3945
to get the light on, install linux-backports-modules(i'm not sure)
There are different wireless cards available with the N100. Could you please be more specific about the type installed? If you have no info, try "lspci" or "lshw" in the terminal window. This gives you a bunch if information, but try to figure out, which card you have installed.
Thanks joker_23, this worked for me (I just run as root: "sudo echo "options iwl3945 disable_hw_scan=1" > /etc/modprobe.d/iwl3945". I didn't installed the package, since my laptop most be very stable, and installing a backported package just for a light is not necessary).
