    Question Ubuntu Virgin Needs help!!!

Hello out there! I am totally 100% brand new to Linux/Ubuntu and I am requesting a little help while I am learning this incredible OS please. I have an 80gig external hard drive that was formerly run on this computer when it was windows. Well, all my music, video, pics and most importantly, my resume is on that drive and now that I am running linux, it won't recognize it. Is there an easy fix to this! I also have a 20gig Mp3 player (it's an: iriver H10 20GB Color) and it also isn't recognized. Help me please! Any help will be very much appreciated!!

While the external HD is plugged in, run these commands:
    Code:
    sudo fdisk -l
    lsusb
What are the results? I'd also like to know who makes your external HD.

What version of Ubuntu are you using? and have you installed all available updates?
