    Question Toolbar freezes

    Hi-

I'm currently on my Ubuntu Hardy Heron laptop. It seems as though after a certain period of time, my top toolbar freezes (I only have one toolbar, I am using AWN as a bottom toolbar). I've noticed it especially after using pidgin instant messenger. I can't click anything on the toolbar, the shutdown icon, my main menu, nothing. I cant even open a terminal with alt+f2. Any advice?

    Thanks.

No direct solution to your problem from here. Just thinking out loud. Could be a bug, a problem with memory, or something else entirely.
No guaratees that it will help, but you could try:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get update
    It might help...
    Ubuntu Release 12.04
    Kernel Linux 3.0.0-16-generic
    Pentium dual core 3.00GHz

    Re: Toolbar freezes

I've been having a similar error, also while running pidgin. However, I am able to alt+tab applications and continue to use them, only the Toolbars freeze.
