Solving .dmrc and $HOME Permission Errors

Thanks for the how-to. Not only did it allow me to put my CFD program into its own user folder (done for reasons stipulated by the CFD program), it also sent me on one of those linux learning journeys about file ownership and modification etc.

in the end i just changed ownership via chown. lets see how it goes!!

Well, this proved to be very useful. I recovered my system to a new partition, due to a crash caused by me. I spent a whole day trying to track it down, and finally this helped. Many thanks.
