Hi, I recently installed Ubuntu 8.10 on a Compaq Presario A909US (dual-booting with Vista). At the moment I am having an easier time of it than I did with 8.04 which I gave up on a while ago, aside from some Broadcom wireless issues (who hasn't had those?? =D).

However my system has frozen twice now in the four days I have had it installed - a hard freeze that I needed to hit the power button to get out of. My Caps Lock indicator was blinking on and off after the freeze happened, both times.

Does anyone know what this means or could be?
