    ubuntu and RDP

    Does ubuntu work with Remote Desktop? If so, how does it work?

    yes it's an ssh server connection.

    Just so I understand are you looking to set up a remote desktop like connection to a Linux desktop? Or do you want to connect a Linux machine to a Windows Machine that has remote desktop enabled?

    I guess I should have been clearer. I would like to RDP from ubuntu to a windows box and vice versa, is that possible?

    Yes, it's possible. There's an application called 'Terminal Server Client' and it's already installed - 'Applications -> Internet-> Terminal Server Client'
