Starting Firestarter when Ubuntu boots

Hello,

I have firestarter running, but have a question. When I start it by clicking Applications->Internet->Firestarter, and exit out, the Firestarter icon stays on the panel. I added it to start on boot. but when I boot, there is no icon on the panel. Does this mean it's not running? I've started the system monitor, and it was not listed. If it's not running when I boot, how do I get it to?

I thought firestarter was just a gui for configuring iptables, it isn't like a windows firewall that needs to be started on boot.

Viper, this is not a problem related to Ubuntu installation process.

If you want firestarter to start at boot, you have to put it in sessions (system->preferences->sessions). If it doesn't work it is probably because you miss typed the command.
