    Booting from Flash Drive?

I tried booting Ubuntu from my Flash Drive, but it kept on coming up with the error message "Operating System not Found".

I cleaned my flash drive completely, moved the .iso files into the zip drive, and tried again, with the same error.

I really don't want to wait 2 months for my 8.10 CD to arrive, can anyone help?

    try this method:

    http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/
    http://unetbootin.wiki.sourceforge.net/guide

You can skip the step downloading the .iso since you already have it.

    good luck
