Hi,

I am pretty new to ubuntu but am liking it apart from some issues..

One of which is the graphics card in my Inspiron 9100, I've searched loads of threads, but they all seem to be from like 2005 (when the laptop was decent), i'm running 8.10 Intrepid Ibex now and would mind having decent graphics!

The laptop runs so slow as soon as i load a gui up at present.

Does anyone have a step by step guide to remove whatever I have and get the proper drivers installed? An maybe get some 3d acceleration???
