    User "501" and group "dialout"

A friend burned me a DVD in Mac OSX, and I can't read from it. It's mounted as /media/cdrom0 and when I open it using nautilus as root, I can see the files, but can't copy them. They are all group "dialout" and user "501", with permissions that prohibit access for "group" or "others"?

How do I copy these files and then change their permissions so my normal user has access?

Files in the folder "" cannot be handled because you do not have permissions to see them.
