Hi,

Slackware is a little different in approach to many other distros and I think you will find there is a high value associated with problem solving and investigation by yourself before asking for assistance. However I am a Slackware user myself and don't mind helping out via this thread, although perhaps a moderator could move it to 'Other OS Talk'?

The main port of call is Linux Questions in the Slackware section but I should warn you to do your homework first: this is a very different group to the Ubuntu forums.

A slackware install is not hard at all and is very straight forward although you might want to check out http://www.slackbook.org/ (it's been recommended to me but I've never used it nor know what version of slack it's for). Have fun
