    8.1

fresh install of 8.1, I moved to 8.1 because 8.1 wireless handels low signal strength better than 8.04 using Zydas chip-set zd1211rw USB adapter. I have no complaints about 8.1. Fresh install went smoothly. I have not updated and do not plan to at this time.

I'm posting this from Northern Nevada.

8.10 works great for me, down here in southern nevada. I'm completely up-to-date with my updates, I love Ubuntu. It gets a little better every release.

I'm in the north too (Reno); been using 8.10 since Alpha 2 and it has worked pretty well for me overall, and exceptionally well from the Beta onward (as it should!). I've got it running on my laptop (upgraded from 7.04 -> 7.10 -> 8.04 -> 8.10 over time) and on my main desktop at home. It seems to be pretty solid for me and a lot of things now 'just work' (like suspend/hibernate on my laptop).
