[SOLVED] Why do folders in /home/user/.dvdcss keep piling up?

Every time I watch a DVD movie or video, a folder is created in /home/user/.dvdcss usually with the name of the movie. In the folder there are often many short files with meaningless (to me) numeric names and numeric contents.

Is there no way to limit the number of these folders and files or to automatically delete them after watching a movie? What are they and why are they saved?

    Thanks.
