D: Lucid's not supported anymore?? That's....... gah. Thanks for the heads-up. I'll just upgrade and hope my computer doesn't explode.

    Thanks for all your help!

Still have this problem with Ubuntu 13.10

I still get this problem with Ubuntu 13.10. My eraser behaves as a pen.

By default the Wacom Tablet PC eraser is set to perform the same action as the pen with no obvious way to change it.

You would think that this would have been added to the Wacom Tablet configuration panel somehow?

Regardless, has anyone else fixed this problem in Ubuntu 13.10?

Re: Wacom tablets in Ubuntu guide/howto

Hi, I'm hoping that this would reach the right people for this situation.

I have a Motion LE1700 laptop that I'm trying to migrate from Win XP to Ubuntu. It's running quite well except the pressure sensitivity. I've done a bit of looking but I can't find a way to adjust the pressure values. According to what I've found trying to figure out pressure issues I found this way to test pressure in Wacom tech.

xinput --list "Serial Wacom Tablet stylus" | grep -B 1 -A 5 "Pressure"

It gives me the following verbatum

    Detail for Valuator 2:
    Label: Abs Pressure
    Range: 0.000000 - 2048.000000
    Resolution: 1 units/m
    Mode: absolute
    Current value: 22.000000
Class originated from: 12. Type: XIValuatorClass

Now I think the issue is the 2048 levels of sensitivity is WAAAAY to high for this laptop. Acording to what I remember, this specific tablet and original pen can only accept 512 levels...

I'm wondering if anyone would be able to help me in adjusting this? I know I could just use the curves and 'bandage' this but I want to truly fix it.

    Thank you for your time.

Hi, I wonder how Intuos Pro tablet plays with Ubuntu? I am thinking to buy my daughter either small or medium one. BTW, any advice which one and how Pro compares to normal one?
