    Can't start gksu displayconfig-gtk

Now I know we are not meant to use this tool but I still want it. Anyway that's irrelevant to my problem.
When I start gksu displayconfig-gtk from either the Menu (apps -> other -> Screens and graphics) or directly from terminal all I get is the standard authentication screen asking for my root password. I enter it and press OK. I then wait a bit and get nothing. I'm using 8.10 by the way.
    Can anyone help?

I use the latest release of kde. And yet I am still at peace with myself.

AFAIK displayconfig-gtk is not included in 8.10.
