Unhappy Partitioning does not start in installer

    Hi,

When I tried installing Intrepid Ibex from desktop CD, Ubiquity;s partitioner does not start. A manual partitioning screen is directly displayed without the "guided" choice but all widgets are disabled and no disk is listed. However, when I start gparted from the Live CD, I'm able to see and edit the partitions. I guess this is a bug ubiquity however, but now that I have the CD, is there any other means of installing it overriding ubiquity's partition step?

Note: When I tried in Virtualbox on my current Hardy install, installation proceeds fine.

Motherboard: ASUS M2NPV-VM (But I'm sure it is not a driver issue as gparted gets it fine).
    Bye,

Did you check the md5sum of the ISO before burning?

Yes I had verified and it was fine. Also as I mentioned in my first post, booting it in virtual machine works fine.
    Bye,
