do not know what happened but i can forward mail or write mail in hot mail now using fire fox

Yes you are correct.
Most likely, there were changes on the part of Windows Live Hotmail to make peace the angered linux community.
Windows Live Hotmail is fully-functional right now with Linux but I am sure that there are users who switched to the more linux-friendly and more efficient (in my opinion) GMail.
