what i had to do when i installed psxe, (not from this guide i should add as a disclaimer)
i had to link whicher sound/graphics plugin i was using to
so if you use petes mesagl plugin and PeopsOss plugin then u need to run
Code:sudo ln -s ~/epsxe160lin/plugins/libgpuPeteMesaGL.so.1.0.76 ~/epsxe160lin/plugins/libgpu.so sudo ln -s ~/epsxe160lin/plugins/libspuPeopsOSS.so.1.0.8 ~/epsxe160lin/plugins/libspu.so

nice howto!!! it really works!! but i still have some doubts, maybe later i will post them. thanks a lot!!
Linux Counter #382246 -
I have it running on my amd64 using the 32 bit libraries. There's a 32 bit ncurses library available in the repositories, but the gtk1.2 and glib1.2 were not. I downloaded the i386 debs manually, extracted them, and put the appropriate files in the /usr/lib32 directory.
First of all: stort tack för guiden, Johannes!
Now, I've got it all up and running with no error messages - but also with no sound. According to the configuration, the "Plugin [is] working correctly." The plugin is Pete's P.E.Op.S OSS Audio Driver 1.9 and I'm using onboard nForce 2 sound.
Any help greatly appreciated, I don't even know where to start.
Edit: Boy, do I feel sheepish. I thought I'd tried everything... everything except unmuting the sound. Gah! Sorry for my stupidity.
