    EFI yay,
    All the NewWorld were Openfirmware (aka ieee1275).

    No. youtube should not be a problem for Ubuntu or Debian on ppc. There are many ways to get or watch content from youtube.

    Flash is a problem though.

    There is a python program for watching youtube videos. I can't remember it off hand, but it uses SWFdec and/or Gnash to play.
