Forefox crashes on CNN site everytime

I'm running Hardy on an Opteron system using Firefox 3.0.

Forefox runs well, but when ever I visit CNN.com, Firefox crashes and throws me out to the text login prompt.
This happens without fail and only on the CNN site. It's been happening for the last 6 months.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Some sites use large amounts of flash and other scrips. This can be too much for some systems and will slow down all systems. I have an old unit and I use no flash and no script add ons in Firefox. Its very fast and I can give permission to see what I want. Maybe you should try the add ons.

Post above is correct sometimes the computer cannot hold huge amount of information and I also recommend the no script addon.

Thanks for the replies all, but my computer is a quad Opteron with 8GB of ram and each Opteron has 1MB cache all connected to a gigabit Ethernet link.
The motherboard is actually an ASUS server board.

This has me puzzled because CNN is not the most animated or flash entensive site I've visited, yet CNN is the ONLY site that makes my system crash.

I really don't think it's a resource issue. My system has plenty to spare.
