airport driver help

i've already narrowed down that i have to install the drivers for my airport. i have them, and i've tried these tutorials, but then it fails, and leaves me behind with no support. i have no internet in ubuntu for obvious reasons, so don't try to give me a terminal code to download anything.

it says i installed ndiswrapper, but then when i tried to do something with it, it said the program didn't exist or something similar.

and i'm sure it would help if i knew the specific model of card i have, but i really don't (43xx is all i know)
is there a way to tell this easily?

i just need a good tutorial on how to get these drivers working so i can get internet in ubuntu. for the love of community-based computing, help me out.

Hi there, I'm no expert on this but if you're using a macbook of any kind, wireless is supported out of the box.

Some info on which mac you are using would be very helpful.

intel imac core duo, 1.83ghz
2gb ram
250gb hard drive
and an airport card, model unknown to me
partitioned 25 or so gb to windows, and installed ubuntu inside windows

Please see the "Before you post" link to properly identify your mac.

Your broadcom card requires ndiswrapper which needs to be installed

or

the wl driver which is in Intrepid by default
