    Permanent cache?

How can I have something permanently saved in Firefox's cache? (Meaning that Firefox will still use it if I clear private data) I guess a good example of this is that I visit XKCD very frequently, and would like it to keep the comics cached when everything else gets cleared.

I am thinking that I could possibly move the files I want to keep from the "Cache" folder to the "OfflineCache" folder and not clear offline files. Would that work?

And as a side note: is there any way I can save a website's favicon?

There's a Firefox extension called, I believe, Scrapbook. It saves web pages, which you can then access from the side panel on the left. And you can edit the pages before you save them, so you don't have to archive the stuff you don't want.

But, as I recall, XKCD comics are graphics. You can just save the graphic.
