This works with the honor system:
If you are running Ubuntu, please resend this virus to everyone you know
and then empty your trash, because you would never agree to delete your home folder.

Oh, I could have some fun with this.

I used to send some virus alerts out that were so outrageous, there was no possible way they could be true.

It had things like "If you open an email with that subject, it will erase your credit cards, cause your milk to spoil, cover the walls in your house with polka dots, and cause your VCR to flash 12:00."

Surprisingly, some people believed me. Of course, now "Weird Al" Yankovic has a song called "Virus Alert" that uses that same idea.

But then, I still remember the Y2K warning that I got in the email warning me that my toaster and refrigerator would stop working on Jan. 1, 2000. So people will believe almost anything.
