So, post a better one.
hehehe, I am still waiting for the torrent to download. So it will be a few days yet before I can indulge. So I am relying on the good people out there with it installed to provide sneak peeks of what awaits me
But here is my ubuntu screen shot from a few days ago:

Okay, I got Beryl working again (had to turn off sync to vb). So, here I am using Google Earth (which works out of box):
I have slapped the comic book guy around and sent him to his room for being so impertinent.
I like your wallpaper, what is it?

That's the Won-Ton-Soup-3 wallpaper.
Beautiful. I did some searching and also found other related in style backgrounds. So thank you for the name
I got this in a PM:
I was able to specify the background using the program beryl-manager, which places a red gem icon in the system tray. Click once on that and it will give you a menu. Select the "Beryl Settings Manager".i saw when you had your cube rotating you had a background. how can i do that. i'm sorry to bother you but i don't know where to look for this on the forum. i've tried and no luck. i'm new to this and need some help. thanks
Then click the down arrow for "desktop", select "desktop cube", click on the "Skydome" tab, and change the "skydome image" to whatever background image you want visible.
