To my co-Ubuntu users, I just want to ask this question...

heard it from a friend but what prompted me to use Linux(Ubuntu) was that it was never thought in our school. Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Desktop Edition (64-bit) was my first distro, everything was first .. im lovin it...

I first heard of Ubuntu through Google after deciding to check out Linux on the suggestion of an acquaintance.

i heard that **** and Smith was selling Ubuntu Linux DVD installer there right?.. i have suggested ubuntu to some of our clients (by the way i worked for Xtra Telecom, it is sad though, because it's not under our support) to try Ubuntu since their having a lot of issues with Virus using M$ operating system, and since then i'm getting good feedback!.

I've seen Ubuntu in my local **** Smith branch - they had one or two of 7.04, and some of 8.04. I've also seen some copies of Fedora DVDs

I worked for Telecom for a short while when it was still part of the NZ Post office (1987) not long before it split into the now defunct Post Bank, NZ Post and Telecom; I'd heard that they had contracted some of their call centre work to the Phillipines. And gues which ISP I use.....
