Checking 8.04 CD for errors with Virtual PC

Okay so I searched for this and couldn't find anything about it...

But I'm trying to check my ubuntu 8.04 ISO for errors using Virtual PC and it's not working...

It keeps saying "isapnp: checksum for device 1 is not valid"

I checked the MD5sum of the ISO and it's correct...so should I go and burn the ISO?

Yes, I would go ahead and burn the ISO onto a disk. If the MD5 checksum for the ISO file itself is fine, it should work properly as long as you burn onto a good quality medium at a low speed.

Hi and welcome, I am a little confused, What do you mean you are trying the checksum in virtual pc? What OS is the host?

If the md5sum of the iso is correct, then you can burn it. There is no corruption in the iso.
    Be Safe. Use Linux.
Double your drive space. Delete Windows.
